This year’s Animation Summer School is inspired by the magical, enchanted world of fashion photographer Tim Walker, whose acclaimed photography exhibition Tim Walker – Pictures will continue to be on show at the Design Museum over the summer. Working with Brighton based animator Tom Hillenbrand, you will explore a broad range of animation production techniques including plot development, story boarding, set and character design, 3D modelling and stop frame animation. This fast paced, fun packed 5 day course will culminate in a celebratory screening of your animated film for invited parents and friends. All materials are included in the course fee.
